Faramarz K-Rahber – Producer/Writer/Director
Faramarz K-Rahber is an Australian-Iranian filmmaker. An award-winning graduate from Griffith University Queensland College of Art, he has worked across many roles in the documentary industry in the last 10 years.
His focus on directing, mixed with a strong background in cinematography, has helped shape his insightful, observational style of filmmaking.
Faramarz is a lecturer in documentary and film production at Griffith Film School, Griffith University.
Axel Grigor – Editor & Line Producer
Swedish-Australian filmmaker Axel Grigor worked on Academy Award-nominated Swedish feature ‘Show Me Love’ before migrating to Australia in 1999.
In 2001 he formed Faraway Productions with Faramarz K-Rahber. Their first feature documentary, ‘Fahimeh’s Story’, won the prestigious Independent Spirit Award at the 2004 Lexus IF Awards and was nominated for a 2004 AFI Award.
A recipient of the best director award at Queensland New Filmmaker Awards in 2001, Axel is currently dividing his time between screen editing and line producing.
Colin Webber - Music Producer and Composer
Colin Webber has a long history of composition and production in both popular music and multimedia environments. With a keen interest in cross-cultural and cross-discipline collaboration, he has worked as a session musician and arranger for popular and niche market music and created a large volume of production music for several international libraries. Colin also has a lengthy list of credits in composition for theatre and dance, and has contributed music to a variety of TV and film productions. "Donkey in Lahore" is his second project with Faraway Productions.
Colin is currently teaching Music Technology at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and undertaking research for a Doctor of Musical Arts degree.
